My party triggered a couple nice audible collapses, a couple on terrain steep enough to avalanche... The snow was just not deep enough in this area for the slabs to propegate and run.

Mainly a concern only at the highest elevations and on smooth north facing slopes.

The weekend storm brought a good shot of stiff, wind-drifted snow that nicely filled in treed areas and covered up rocks.... The snow is still quite shallow, but lots of people are getting out on skis, boards, and even a few on snowmobiles.
