Weather Comments
Walked up white pine to red pine today to get a idea for what is going on with the snow a little more down canyon from Alta. Snow transport and blowing snow on ridgelines. Clean shears in ct's above the old facets. Some evidence of old crowns from a few days ago on NE aspects of Pheffrrhorn and No Name Baldy. Which share similar traits as the recent few avalanches. Northeast and high elevation. (Hard to see in pics from recent loading.) Around 70cm snowpack depth on NE aspects at 9800 ft.
