A few collapses noted. Some hand pit columns on steeper slopes failed upon isolation, others less sensitive. A new ten inch slab sitting on about ten inches of facets, an inch or so of higher density snow near the ground in the shadiest locations. No avalanches observed.

Busiest early season day I have seen at Tony in years, good to see folks out. Photos of hand pit, looking up beginner bowl and looking back out toward the lake with the Powder Surf boys getting ready for another lap.
