We noted many collapses on and near Miller Bowl. The snowpack structure was pretty poor... all of the new snow is sitting on a melt/freeze crust that is supported by very weak faceted snow. Wind slabs were thicker in some places than in others. Overall, a pretty interesting 1st day out...
