Comments

Yeah I know I said I was done but not much else to do when it keeps snowing. Went to Alta today but with the poor visibility could not see much of anything, poking around the Alta perimeter revealed that the new snow was avalanching on a density inversion in the new snow, cracking was commonplace in the morning. I would think this problem would settle out by tomorrow, but with the threat of sun and heating of the new snow and a slick bed surface might want to watch out for wet sluffs, and possibly wet slabs in this dense new snow in steeper terrain. The Y couloir, and the Y-Not couloir had already released by 9:30am.
