Sunny morning with some clouds rolling in around noon. Temps felt hot under direct sun but were fairly chilly with the patchy afternoon cloud cover. A consistant cool breeze along the ridge kept the snow on high north cold.

Snow Characteristics Comments

High north and protected areas held soft consolidated powder albeit almost everywhere was disturbed by ski tracks. The few turns I was able to squeeze in between the old tracks were soft and creamy! A frozen sun crust was present on all solar aspects. The south had softened for my exit at 1:30pm while westerly aspects still had a supportable, loud, scratchy crust.
