Snow Characteristics Comments

Snow still nice on most all aspects in the morning, with only a light and spotty zipper crust on SE facing. Sun began to bake the east facing aspects around 9 am; however, high clouds then rolled in and prevented east facing in Hogum from going off until at least 11 am when we began our decent. North facing stayed cold all the way down to around 6,500'.

Red Flags Comments
Pretty quite. Like described above, wet activity kept at bay in the morning by clouds. Much less wind slab development than I had expected, and the few lingering drifts noted had settled out.
Comments

Photo of a small soft slab below the Pfieferhorn (in the shade) that likely came out mid storm, maybe Friday night. Guess would be that it ran on graupel given its location below the cliffs. Note: tried to do all this from the phone and the photos seem to be having problems, but I think it finally made it on there.
