Snow Characteristics Comments

The few inches of snow from the last little storm varies in depth due to previous winds. Southerly facing slopes became damp due to direct sun. The underlying snow is locked up pretty good since it's cooled down.

Problem #1 Comments

Very minor chances for triggering small inconsequential damp surface slides. More like push-a-lanches.

The avalanche danger was generally low today. With the older snow now frozen up fairly decently, I'm anticipating only new snow instabilities out of the next storm. I'm suspecting we've gone through our major wet slide cycle for the spring and won't see much more aside from surface instabilities until it gets warm enough to get the upper elevation northerly aspects active.
