Touring since Tuesday in snow and storm conditions. Large 30'+ cornices observed on ESE faces on Thursday am, biggest above alpine experiment station, Large cornices observed along north facing ridges above Phil flat friday. Pit on WSW face of ridge above campground at 9800 feet had 4ft of pretty well bonded layers, nothing to loose or too thick and firm.
