Only a couple quick comments - route was typical - Butler West to Mill A to Gobbler's/Raymond Divide...up Raymond east ridgeline before dropping into the Raymond Glades. Quick pit north facing glades found total snowpack to be 130cm and generally 'right-side-up', made up of 1F mixed forms...with the loosest snow found near the surface. A couple ECTs and CT tests offered no results. Before hammering on the 1st ECT, I looked at my ski partners - old, long term partners from days gone by and now visiting SLC - "Have we already decided to ski this thing despite whatever results we get?" I laughed - a classic question - our skins were off, we wanted to ski it....but just an interesting question. Would you ski it without a beacon? More food for thought.
