Need at least 6"-8" of new to improve riding conditions although some wind protected N aspects holding some decent snow.

moved around and did some tests between 8600'-8800'. HS between 100cm-130cm West aspect CTM12Q2@85cm x 2 failing on 2mm facets. On a different west aspect at about 8600' ECTP13Q1SC failing on mix of facets and buried SH.

January facets and Buried Surface Hoar. Have to move around and take many looks into the snow pack. Can be different from place to place.
