Snow Characteristics Comments
The snow down low was deeper and heavy with a crust. Up high the snow was not as deep and the crust not as developed but still very heavy. We saw no signs of slides of any kind in all elevations. The back side was loaded pretty heavy along the cliffs there looked as if a small cornice had broke with a heavy wind load but it was only about 20 feet wide and didn't slide just broke off. We put allot of miles on it was a pretty good ride overall traveling in all elevations. pay attention and be careful.
