the surface and pack is one big bed of rotten granulated snow on this shady route. I could only get snow moving on steep slopes greater than 40deg. and these sluffs were minor and only a few inches deep.

there is a bunch surface hoar forming especially 5 -7000 ft. I found it two inches deep at 6500ft. I guess if it will not fall from above, we will grow it from below. The turning is still quite nice, fast and loud.
