Traveled from 7400-10,300, all aspects, slope angles to 38ยบ's. I found mostly stable snow conditions today. Wet rollerballs on steep, lower elevation west faces. Well developed surface hoar at lower elevations and faceting of the snow surface at higher elevations. Near surface and surface facets were small grained. Finding preserved small grain, fist hardness facets under the newest storm snow in test pits.
The feathers are very cool right now.
