Temperature at 8500' at 9:45: 0.4 C. T at 9000' at 11:15: -1.6 C, and at 12:30 had dropped to -2.8 C Precipitation began at 12:30 as graupel and rates of S3 Winds increased throughout the morning. Gusty on the ridgelines.

Surface snow varied greatly with aspect. Faceted snow in protected shaded slopes while wind crust was evident in expoused areas. M/F crust on solar aspect as well.

Overlaying poor snowpack structure, however none of our test had poor stability results. Possible concerns with storm snow arriving, on top of the recent surface faceted grains could provide a new problem to our snowpack.
