NNE winds from Jan. 2 loaded lee slopes.

Traveled from 7500-10,200. Skied NW aspects up to 35 degrees. CT tests showed a weakness in the upper 10" of snow failing CT11-15 Q1 and ECTP12 Q1 on small facets. Test pit at 9900 ft., NW aspect, 31 degree slope. Rime crust breaking down and interface between it and basal facets gaining strength.
Two natural releases from yesterday's wind loading. Happened late in the day on Jan 2 or early morning Jan. 3.
CT test failing on small facets.
