Comments
The riding was amazing today in the Tony Grove area. Snow stability was good with the exception of 4 or 5 soft slab avalanches on very steep slopes. Each slab was 10 to 15 feet wide and only ran a short distance on 45+ degree slopes.
No other signs of instability were noted.

We heard rumors of a large avalanche ripping out to the ground occuring several days ago on Cornice Ridge. From our vantage point just to the east, we saw no signs of the slide.
There had been a little bit of wind on the highest ridges of the front range that built a few cornices. We didn't find any wind affected snow just to the east of the front range.
The south facing slopes started to get a little wet mid day with the blazing sun.
