About 16 inches of fresh very light snow from the past few days. Incredible riding conditions.
Comments
Lots of sloughing on steeper slopes, but easily manageable. Dug a hasty pit around 8000 feet on north facing slope, between DB and Exit, found about 16 inches fresh, sitting on a similar amount of faceted snow, 2 inches of pencil to knife hard October snow on the ground. No other signs of instability noted.
