Observation: Driveway Cirque

Collapsing

I was in Driveway Cirque today in the Moon Rocks area (N) and set off a very large collapse five steps off the skin track...It was widespread accross the shallow apron(25degrees) that I was walking across above the steeper terrain.. Unsettling big collapse..I dug a to the ground pit and column tested further out into the slope and found the column shifted out at the bottom 5" of snowpack.. Turned around and skiid a 23-25 degree N/ne face which also collapsed big...NO snow movement in either case...but very unsettling..
