Poor Snowpack Structure
Red Flags Comments
shallow snowpack and high pressure systems are never a good mix. snowpack on northerly aspects above 8000' is a mix of facets and buried melt freeze crusts. no results from ECT tests, but with a precipitation and winds in the forecast it will be interesting to see how the snowpack reacts to the added weight.
