No signs of instability. Snow structure lacking a slab, but plenty of weak snow exists especially on north facing slopes.

The snow on north facing slopes is weak throughout, with the M/F crust deteriorating and very weak faceted snow just below it. in the photo you can see the mid-pack crust because the faceted snow just under it just fell out of the pit wall as I excavated....
Looking at the mountains from the south gives a depressing view of the limited snow cover in the Bear River Range... Here is Wood Camp from the trail head and Mount Magog from South Tony Grove
Things look a bit better when viewed from the north.... Here is Mount Elmer and the Sisters from the Blind Hollow Saddle, and Logan Peak in the distance. The last photo is of Naomi Peak and Upper Cornice Ridge from the east...
