We walked through very patchy snow above 9,000'. Became a bit more consistent around 9600' with 3-6" at most. Still mostly rocks showing through. Snow is damp and saturated. Snow only in sheltered N or high-elevation terrain.

Comments

Just wanted to get a look at coverage before the incoming storm. There is some snow, but nothing to write home about. Looks like late October in the mountains, with no leaves on the trees and patches of white here and there.
