Snow Characteristics Comments
Snow was quite supportive on solars and soft and creamy on polars. Thin wind crust in exposed areas. Snow was moist on solars near treeline. It looked like you could actually ski a variety of higher elevation slopes. The polars harbor cold, supportive snow, and the more solar aspects have a supportable crust. Kinda tricky navigating lower elevations, but by the next storm I think skiing will be pretty decent.
