Comments
Snow seekers in Weber Canyon might consider two (or more) wheels at this point for transport. There’s a lot of dirt around! Remaining snow is limited to NW-N-SE. Looking around the canyon and beyond, no avalanche activity could be seen, but lots of remaining snow on the high peaks is still present.
Corn snow is definitely around, observed in travels above 9000’, but aspects are limited. Softening today on NE occurred right around 1100 hour, with SE likely softening around 0900 or 1000. Attached is a photo of a NE facing slope at 9500’ at noon with new rollerballs, the same aspect was just coming on an hour prior. Many areas are thin and punchy, with sage beginning to poke through.
