I visited numerous trailheads to assess access. It's grim. There's no snow below 7500'. Between 7500'-8500' is thinning quickly with the warm temps and hair-dryer winds. Need a solid refreeze to travel safely on the snow (see Mack and Toby's ob from yesterday). Not in the cards until possibly next week when the weather pattern becomes more active. Access will still be the major issue.

Tony Griove Road - You can drive up about two miles (ish) until you hit impassable snow. No turn around for a trailer. While there are stretches that hold snow there are also many long stretches that are asphalt.
Mid elevation snowpack is dwindling rapidly.
Deceptive. Though the snow up high looks "good" - it is not. It is saturated and unsupportable, making for tricky and dangerous riding conditions. Better to just go fishing.
