Comments
Throughout our travels most high elevation north and east facing ridge lines showed significant wind loading. Nowhere did we see that any had released naturally yet. Steep rocky areas all showed roller balls releasing naturally. Some had triggered small wet slab avalanches. None of them looked to be very wide or run very long. Most of these were also on north and east facing slopes. Didn’t notice any cracking but as the temps rose we did notice a lot of collapsing under our sleds. Beautiful day on the hill with amazing temps for spring riding. Snow levels are fairly good at higher elevations, accessing it is the struggle.
