Comments
Toured up around 10420 today around mid-day. No observable instabilities other than sluffing new snow and point releases. Snow down low was very damp. Even at 10k+’ snow was damp although dry enough to get transported by winds gusting 20ish mph. Likely some greenhousing. Lots of wet loose slides and as Bo Torrey shared, an avalanche off Brad’s run observed on the way down. Skiing was creamy and fast up high and a bit grabby in places below 9,000 feet. Lots of potential moisture coming up the canyons but generally stayed up in the clouds. Could be a bit crusty tomorrow morning if temps drop below freezing. Also observed people making rather poor choices in Hidden Canyon. Hopefully, things held together there.
