Widespread faceted snow due to the January drought. I dug two separate snow pits facing north by northwest and north. Both pits reacted while initiating a extended column test and 1 and 11, or, ECTP1 and ECTP11. Full propagation on the new snow/old snow interface which can also be seen in the test slope cut pic.
