HS was extremely elevation dependent. At 9600ft we had 98cm at 9960ft we had 155cm. The jan/feb drought crust is stout on Southerlies. The more elevation you gain and the more you wrap to North the more it disappears. We did have some cracking coming off the machines, wether in tracks or cut up snow.
