Snow Characteristics Comments

Almost every type of snow out there today.

Plenty of loose surface snow, just continuing to decompose. Stubborn wind slabs exist primarily in the alpine and some gully features.

No warming issues in this location today.

However those protected Norths still holding some decent soft snow.

Comments

I started at Brighton with a lift ride. Left the resort and toured through the lake district. Travel was easy. I was able to ride a few decent lines on Tuscarora, Dog lake Chutes, and lower Mary Chutes. Really great to get into some avalanche terrain with no hazard.

No signs of instability, and conditions were better then expected.

Perfect day for a tour in upper BCC
