Weather Comments
Back to winter with temperatures at least more like January. Single digits to start the day and only getting into the teens with a slight north breeze kept the chill in the air. One whole inch of new snow at the trailhead this morning.

Snow Characteristics Comments

Surprised to find a few new inches of snow out in the Mill Creek area. There was generally 3-5" of quite low density new snow that was good for the soul and to know it can still snow this winter. Amazing how a little snow can go a long way to soften the conditions and keep the spirits up!

Comments

A quick snow pit from today to see where the winter highlights are and only about 90cm or 3 feet of snow at this elevation.

A little new snow can go a long way to refresh things and keep the spirits up.

Always a treat to get some nice views of the High Uintas!
