Mountain Weather

Monday, December 10, 2018 - 10:34am
Forecaster: Mark
High pressure will move east today as a weak storm system approaches. This system will likely split and bring little moisture. It should increase SW winds some this afternoon and help improve air quality.
Extended Outlook
Another storm system will arrive Wednesday with cold air. This system has a much better chance to bring snow but is fast-moving. It may have periods of high intensity precipitation rates but the system is moving fast which will limit total snow accumulations. This storm will also bring gusty NW winds.
