Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: Wow. Riding conditions remain excellent on many aspects. You'll find heat crusts on the sunnier facing slopes. Temperatures got into the mid 30s on Thursday and dropped back into the mid 20s overnight. Canyon bottoms are colder with the inversion in place. The wind has been light for the last few days. It has switched from the northwest to a flow from the southwest.
Mountain Weather: We'll see high clouds today with temperatures around 30 or a bit warmer. Wind from the southwest will remain pretty light. We might see a little more sun filtering through the clouds on Saturday. A storm will move through Sunday into Monday and should provide a pretty good refresher of snow.

Description
The snowpack is stable, and you must hunt around to find trouble. Continue to follow safe backcountry protocols:
  • Make sure everyone in your group has a beacon, shovel, and probe and knows how to use them.
  • Only expose one person at a time to steep avalanche prone terrain.
  • Clear the RUNOUT ZONE, and don't group up at the bottom of steep slopes.
