Stagnant and benign conditions persist. The avalanche danger remains LOW on the Manti Skyline.
General Conditions: There has been no change in snow conditions. The surface remains variable with a myriad of crusts and some soft, dense areas of snow thrown in. Temperatures were into the mid 20s on Thursday and teens overnight. Wind has been light to moderate from the northwest.
Avalanche conditions are generally safe, and human-triggered avalanches are unlikely at this point. With no storms in sight, I can't even really speculate about what kind of conditions to expect once it snows again. There is lots of loose faceted snow and it seems likely that this will cause avalanches if we ever get some significant layers on top of it. For now, yawn........
