Weather and Snow
Current Conditions: Tuesday brought sunny skies with high temperatures around 30 and light and variable wind. Overnight lows were in the teens with a slight increase in wind speeds from the south. Riding conditions are a mixed bag but you can find sheltered areas that hold soft, loose sugary snow that makes for decent turning.
Mountain Weather: We'll see increasing clouds and mostly cloudy skies later today with high temperatures in the upper 20s to around 30. Wind will be generally light from the south. We'll have some periods of light snowfall through the rest of the week but none of these are going to amount to much. Weather models indicate a wetter pattern next week.

Description
Avalanche conditions continue to be safe at this time. During fieldwork on Tuesday I did not hesitate to go wherever I wanted including into some very steep avalanche paths. The snowpack is VERY weak but it is currently stable. The trouble will come when we start adding layers on top of this weak base. The avalanche danger will increase dramatically once more significant snow storms start moving through.
