General Conditions: Wow. Relentlessly boring and frustrating weather for us winter enthusiasts. We've had light wind from the south and mild daytime temperatures. Snow surface conditions contain a variety of crusts in varying thickness, some stout wind board, and some areas with soft, dense settled snow. Overall depths average about 2 feet deep in the higher terrain.
Mountain Weather: We'll see increasing clouds today with high temperatures in the mid 20s. Wind from the southwest starts out light, then shifts more west and northwest with increasing speeds later on. A very minor weather disturbance moves through this afternoon, and we might see a snowflake fall if we watch closely. It looks like we'll see varying clouds over the next few days with unseasonably warm weather moving in for the weekend. A small storm is possible next Tuesday. It's too far away to speculate much about it.
