Forecast for the Ogden Area Mountains

Issued by JT Robinson on
Friday morning, October 30, 2026

Winter of 2026/27 is approaching soon! The latest fall storms have left a minimal dusting of snow in our higher elevations that have thus far quickly melted with warm temperatures holding strong. A storm approaches for the weekend that looks to be setting up to do much the same. We will only update with any significant changes until the time comes when the snow starts to actually stick to the ground. At that point we'll kick off the start of regular forecasts again.

Weather and Snow

Storms have been producing trace amounts of snow in the higher elevations of the Ogden mountains. Thus far the snow has quickly melted with warm temperatures. The weekend's storm is expected to do much the same. Temperatures are forecasted to be lower than previous storms this fall so we could see a bit more snow by the end of the storm than the others.
