Comments
  • Cornice Broke and skier fell onto fracturing slab, went for a ride, ended on surface uninjured.
  • This avalanche triggered a secondary slide (sympathatic) to the first avalanche that was 1'-3' deep, 150' wide and ran 300' vertical on a northeast facing slope at 10,300'
  • Another avalanche was triggered by skiers intentionally kicking cornice along the ridgeline. Unsure of timing whether it was before or after the catch and carry. These other avalanches on northeast facing slopes were 12"-18" deep, 40' wide and ran 250' vertical at 10,200' elevation
