Accident and Rescue Summary
Preliminary accident report will update as more information becomes available from the party. Two people caught and carried, One injured. Party traveled up the lookers right ridgeline of Main Gobblers, on their second run they dropped into Main Gobblers. The first rider was somewhere lower on the slope when the second rider dropped in and triggered an avalanche from above. Both members of the party were caught and carried. Both ended up on top of the avalanche debris and were able to get themselves out of the debris. Almost all their gear was lost, and there were injuries. The party was able to self extract where SAR met them.
The debris was cleared by the party, and by the UAC with a beacon. No other parties were seen traveling up the skin track, or on the slope at the time.
