Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Friday - April 6, 2018 - 6:48am
bottom line

Most of the terrain along the Skyline has a LOW avalanche danger. There is a remote chance that a person could trigger an avalanche that breaks to the ground on slopes approaching 40 degrees in steepness that face north through east above about 9500' in elevation. If you avoid this terrain you will avoid avalanche danger.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 38. West northwest wind 10 to 17 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. High near 44. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 17 to 22 mph increasing to 23 to 28 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Saturday Night: Rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 23. Windy, with a west northwest wind around 30 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Breezy.
