The avalanche danger remains CONSIDERABLE on steep slopes that face northwest, and especially north and east. This means human triggered avalanches are likely in this terrain again today. Outside of the terrain mentioned, the avalanche danger is much lower and you can travel safely.

ANTICIPATE THE AVALANCHE DANGER TO INCREASE THIS WEEKEND WITH THE NEXT STORM MOVING THROUGH

Today: Snow after 11am. High near 24. South wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 16. South wind 11 to 14 mph.

Friday: Snow likely, mainly after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 31. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 16 to 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday Night: Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. South southwest wind 14 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow. High near 28. South wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Snow. Low around 11. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Sunday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 13. Blustery. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 2.
