Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Monday - January 29, 2018 - 6:59am
bottom line

The avalanche danger is MODERATE on slopes steeper than 35 degrees that face west, north and east. This means human triggered avalanches are possible in this terrain. The chance of triggering an avalanche is becoming less although if you do trigger one it will be two to three feet deep breaking into weak snow near the ground. Trust me, this is a situation that you can not out think. If you want to be in the game for a long time, you need patience. Keep your slope angles low.
