Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Tuesday - January 17, 2017 - 6:56am
bottom line

Most of the terrain has a LOW avalanche danger today. There are isolated places that someone might still trigger a slab avalanche. Continue to pay attention to any cracking in recently formed drifts especially along the higher ridges and peaks.

current conditions

Overall, our snowpack is looking very good. I have not been able to produce any shears or propagation in snowpit tests. There have not been any avalanches reported since during the storm. There is no significant weather anticipated today which would elevate the avalanche danger.
