current conditions

Skies are clearing this morning as the storm system exits our area. 4" of snow, at .20" of water content fell at the Geyser Pass Trailhead bringing the "base" up to 6". It's definitely not enough snow to recreate on but we'll take it.

WNW ridge top winds are averaging 15 mph with gusts in the low to mid 20's. It's 23 degrees at the Geyser Pass Trailhead, and 15 on Pre Laurel Peak

Snow totals at the Geyser Pass Trailhead, (9600')

Wind, temperature, and humidity on Pre Laurel Peak (11,700')

weather

High pressure will build today but will thankfully be short lived. Today we'll see mostly sunny skies with high temperatures at 10,000' in the high 30's. NW ridge top winds will be light. By Monday, clouds will begin to move in ahead of the next system that should bring us a decent shot of snow on Wednesday.
