current conditions The snow surface is getting tired and worn from the wind and sun and a variety of crusted surfaces abound Overall snow depth now ranges from 2-4' across the range. Dustin Randall was out earlier this week and sent in this observation. Wind speed, temperature, and humidity on Abajo Peak. New snow totals at Camp Jackson. |
weather Today Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Tonight Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Friday Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Friday Night A slight chance of rain before 10pm, then a chance of rain and snow between 10pm and 2am, then a chance of snow after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Breezy, with a southwest wind around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Saturday Snow. High near 36. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. |
