Comments

Decided to go to Cardiac Ridge today for some legit powder skiing and found it. Mostly stable conditions except for some minor collapsing breaking trail past the hot spot close to the top of the ridge. The main event was the wet activity which was created by direct sun and also a period of green housing around 2pm. Some fairly large heat induced sluffs were coming out of the SE facing portion of the ridge, but thanks to Brad Makoffs well thought out skin trail they were not coming close to the up track. There were a lot of big lines getting skied with no activity except surface sluffing. Photos.

Dry sluff of E facing Cardiac Ridge.

Green house induced sluffs of SE facing Cardiac Ridge.
