Comments
Today, the bigger concern where we traveled was breaking through a snow bridge and falling rocks due to warming temperatures. Photo below showing rocks falling of a steep slope around 6,800' in elevation.

Photo showing weakening snow bridges with water pouring underneath.
The snowpack in this part of the Provo region has taken a beating since March 23, 2025. Many nearby weather stations have lost between 5"-14" of snow depth since the 23 of March. On aspects facing the south half of the compass (southeast-south-southwest) the snowpack is back to dirt and wild flowers below 7,500' in elevation. What snow is left below this elevation band is moist, and when stepping off your sled you sink straight to the ground in damp snow.
