Despite the high winds that were being encountered at the highest elevations, the 10,000 foot level, saw a very light winds out of the north. Temperatures were frigid and very winter like.

Riding conditions continue to be acceptable in areas where there are no tracks in the upper elevation shady aspects.

The loose faceted surface snow that was in place prior to this latest small event continues to become weaker by the day. Loose dry, avalanching issues continue to become greater and with the addition of this latest inch it was easy to get small loose, dry avalanches in very steep terrain
