Went back to No Name for two reasons, number one I wanted to see the destruction that the slide did from the bottom of the slope up and number two and most important for future reference I wanted to see if the facets were removed from the entire bed surface or not. For an early season avalanche this one was large and destructive snapping pine trees up to 8 inches in diameter and depositing them hundreds of feet from where they were snapped. As for the facets they seemed to be mostly removed or turned into a icy bed surface by the heat from the friction of the slide, the only place I was finding surviving facets was in the denser bushes scattered on the slope, but I walk the bed surface from bottom to top and it was mostly hard, icy and slick. I went there not sure if I was going to ski the flank or just stick to the bed surface but the size of the slide and the lack of over head hang-fire aloud me to probe the western flank of the slide which turns E facing where the slide stopped propagating, as I expected the slide stopped where the facets stopped, pole probing in none avalanched snow on the flank revealed no facets under the new snow just last weeks storm snow sitting on dirt.
Photo of the slide from the bottom and a video showing the avalanches destructive force

I’d stick with considerable on high N facing terrain, moderate on all othe terrain
