Problem #1 Comments
On lower and mid-elevation slopes wind affected the snow and formed wind drifts. We did not travel above 8000" today but I would expect deeper drifts and more sensitive slabs the higher you travel with more snow and strong winds forecasted overnight.

Problem #2 Comments
We found facets buried 30-40 cm below the new snow surface. These facets formed during a dry period before our Christmas storms. These facets were already reactive in our Extended Column Test. (ECTP 15) @ 40cm down from surface).
We were able to track this layer throughout our travel today and found it on most slopes that we dug on (Northwest through East)
